On Tuesday, March 26th the Warminster Rotary Club hosted their second annual Four-Way Test Speech Competition. Rotarians, contestants and their families all packed into Giuseppe's to hear our three finalists from William Tennent High School speak about a current issue in our society and how they apply Rotary's Four-Way Test for a resolution. Since the preliminary round was held the night before to narrow down five contestants to three, this was the second time the finalists presented their speech's before judges.
Adam Adnane made it two wins in two years after passionately delivering a speech on the problems with partisanship politics. Finishing as a very close first runner-up and only one point behind Adam was Elizabeth John who spoke about the affects of poverty in society. Second runner-up was awarded to Jake Arentzen. All the students who participated can be proud of the effort they put forth in preparing for the speech contest and we can be proud to have them in our community! Our future is indeed in good hands.
