Service Above Self: Warminster Rotary Club Foundation's Annual Charity Ball for Madilyn

Please join us as we dance the night away for 18 month old Madilyn.

Madilyn was diagnosed at a very young age with low motor coordination which causes developmental delays. She requires weekly assistance services such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and signing therapy. At 2 months of age, Madilyn was diagnosed with Periventricular Leukomalacia (PVL) which is a white-matter brain injury that affects infants. This condition involves deterioration of small areas of brain tissue that create small holes in the brain. Madilyn requires harnesses and special needs chairs which allow her to move freely and exercise her legs while she grows and learns to walk.

In spite of her condition, Madilyn maintains a happy, playful and content disposition. Madilyn’s smile has warmed the hearts of her family and friends that surround her.

The Warminster Rotary Club Foundation’s goal this year is to improve the quality of life for Madilyn and her loving family.
